New guidance - Critical diagnosis

Correctly diagnosing and treating Parkinson's disease is important not just for the patients whose lives can be improved through it, but for the NHS as it tries to make best use of limited resources.
Clinical guidelines from the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence issued at the end of June will help in diagnosis. But it presents a challenge to the NHS in how it delivers services.
